Only suspensions for a fifth booking take 7 days to kick-in. Red card suspensions take effect immediately. So he'll be banned for Oldham's Cup Replay with Cheltenham.

Found this on the FA official website. Looks like he wil be banned for 2 games.

Players dismissed from the Field of Play in a FTCM, having previously in the same season been sent off in a FTCM (or suspended under the Standard Directions set out in Schedule A in these Regulations for an incident in a FTCM), will be suspended for one extra match for each such previous sending off or suspension, in addition to the automatic suspension applicable to the dismissal.​

Even without Hughes they still have Byfield, Ormerod and a young promising striker called Allesandre. Allesandre recently bagged a hat trick against Scunny.

Maher played well yesterday picked out for praise by Sheridan. Unless he has a mare in the Cup on Tuesday he will play next week!

I hope he gets a good reception as he deserves one!
