reading through some of the posts i dont think anyone has mentionded bradbury today.

I thought he had a great game upfront. not 100 percent fit though but what do you expect. however he was apart from macormack the only one player running around and winning things. if you watch him carefully when the ball is played up in the air 9 times out of 10 he wins the header. however his headers dont just flick over the top into the keepers hands, he actually manages to direct them to players feet. we were poor today but however i thought we played much differently today with bradbury playing and over the next few games i think that maybe we will create more chances and score more goals with him regaining more match fitness. its very co-incedental that the last time bradbury stated befor today (3 months ago) was the last time we won.

I think Bradbury on form is the one hope that we have.

I mentioned him briefly in an Eastwood thread.

Bradbury is a great link player but today there wasn't anything to link together. Even so, his heading was very good, rarely failing to find a blue shirt with nod downs. Problem is, can you see him as a goalscorer?

Sorry to detract but I have to say that Gary Breen is one of the least coordinated footballers I can remember. Good in the air but every time he pumped it long, it counted as a minor victory for Southend!
