Lee Bradbury : Press Release

Reg Martin

No Relation
I can't reveal my sources but the following press release has just been brought to my attention:
"The ShrimperZone community may have collectively over that last few months inadvertently given the impression that we felt Mr Lee Bradbury to be too old, too slow and generally not good enough to play for our beloved Southend United.
Now that he has been loaned out to AFC Bournemouth we wish to make it clear that Mr Bradbury is in fact the best forward on Southend's books.
We also wish to make it clear that we reserve the right to reverse our collective opinion about a Mr Matthew Harrold at an unspecified point in the future."

The day i embrace Matt Harrold as the best striker on Southend's books is the day i welcome back Tesfaye with open arms and a cup of cocoa.

Very confident that we won't have to go in reverse on that one. Once a weak, non heading, back to goal poor impression of a striker always...........!

Yes, very good indeed.

I'd just like to point out that I only ever had good things to say about Lee while he was with us and I'm sad to see him go, particularly at a time when we're really hurting for some true quality in the side.
