League One Team of the Week

Matt the Shrimp

aka Harry Potter
Well, congrats are due to both Maher 8 and Duncan Jupp - both of whom have been picked by the Press Association in League One's official team of the week:

Football League - Team of the Week

However, the slightly odd thing is that Maher has been picked as a right wing and Jupp as a centre half... work that one out if you can.

Anyhow, congrats to Super Kev and Juppy, a feather in both their caps!

Also available in English, folks!

TB, I think you are trying to say that in your opinion, Maher played well last season but, apart from Port Vale, this season he hasn't. Consequently you are dismayed that he has been selected for the team of the week (it's not a bad thing, you know).

That's what I think you're getting at anyway! But read what you've put again... it's nonsense!

I have confused myself now! lol
Bottom line is I don't see (though not a bad thing) why Maher is in the team of the week! don't think he has played to his potential.

Back to the topic though. I don't think Maher has played badly this year (apart from the first half against Vale) but neither do I think he has excelled... a bit curious that he's in team of the week but it's nice to see us get some recognition anyway.

Did whoever selected this team see Walsall's second goal?

I was very proud untill i saw a Col Ewe player there, and realised it must all be a joke.

In all seriousness great to see, especially having two, along with Hartlepool, who are a quality outfit at their best.
