Looking at this map of league one clubs, there's going to be a lot of travelling next season!

It's still better than what we've had this season I think, we have now got 4 within a 100 mile radius and two or three others within 150 miles.

To quote Alison Moyet....."Another northern sky, another motorway parade....!"

Many on here have stated that once we were in league one they think the attendances will rise. I hope they do, but I am not so sure, taking into consideration the distances to be travelled.

Only 24 days until the fixture list is out!

Odds on Fleetwood away for the first game?

Would be nice to see the map with a comparison of Div2 grounds as there won't be Carlise, Morcombe, Hartlepool, Exeter or Plymouth.

It is a very southern League Two, though Plymouth, Yeovil, Exeter, Bristol Rovers, etc are far from short trips

Attendances will rise because more Southend fans go.

The fact some of those teams will bring a lot it will boost the average.

Peterbrough, Col U, Gillingam, Coventry, Millwall, Sheff Utd will all be big gates.

Plenty of them will certainly not bring many though.

Col U will be a big gate but with no thanks to their away support! :winking:

Great for us Northern exiles. I wish the club offered an away season ticket! Looking forward to ticking some new grounds off my list next season.

Also the likes of Barnsley, Wigan and Bradford will bring more than the Northern (and some southern) League 2 teams.

I am one of the "lucky" supporters as a lot of the northern clubs are within 90 minutes of home, especially Scunthorpe and Doncaster, both within 30 minutes. Lets hope it is a good season making the travelling worthwhile.

It's a lot of travelling, but as someone trying to do the 92 (39 down so far) I am glad for a change of leagues! I have been to all but 3 of last season's league 2 grounds whereas there are 16 new ones for me next season, so from a selfish perspective I am not complaining about the long trips!

Same here. Sheffield is a great location for many of the away matches.

Carlisle vs Plymouth - Feel for those away fans .

Look at Bury's Derbies

But as said before - you'd rather travel to Blackpool Wigan and Bury then Accrington Carlisle and Newport
