League 2/Divison 3/Division 4 Play-off's

C C Csiders

Life President
The four previous finals at the Millennium Stadium have produced an average attendance of 29,354. The highest being last year's 37,298 watching Huddersfield v. Mansfield and the lowest being the 23,600 who watched Blackpool wipe the floor with Orient.

The previous 11 finals at Wembley produced an average attendance of 30,562. The high being the 46,804 who watched the Cobblers and the Swans in 1997 and the lowest the following year when only 19,486 suffered the Torquay and Col U final.

Therefore, over the 15 years of one-off play-off finals the average attendance has been 30,240. Be nice to match that on Saturday. However, I fear a gate similar to the Blackpool Ooze gate will be in attendance.

And yes, I am bored at work today.

Because Orient only took 6,000

Crumbs, yes.  I was one of 'em... chanting with the Torquay fans, obviously.

If I remember correctly, the game was on a Friday night hence the low attendance. I seem to recall Col U threatening legal action over the switch from Saturday to Friday.

well, i will not be in attendance.

i said i will not be in attendance, i have a commitment and i will stand by it.

i hope we win, i couldn't suffer pain for the 3rd time round at least this time i will not be there.

and again, just like the last 4 matches it again becomes the biggest match in the club's history.

Yes, it was a Friday. The reason was, I recall, that England played Saudi Arabia on the Saturday in an exciting thrill-an-hour 0-0 spectacular.

Still, better than watching Col U anyway.

someone must really have too much time on their hands, either that or your work is so boring that you resort to talking bout the highlight in col ewes history
