League 1 Team of the Week

Red Rep King!
Shock!!!! Gower didn't make it.

Tommy Black did however, congrats to him. Certainly the best game i have seen him have for us on Sat!

Keep it up Tommy!

Well done Tommy!

He just keep gettig better and better. It's important to remeber he hadn't played regualyfor YEARS before this season - I think he's done great.

Also, he seems very committed - nice to see in a player with small stature - i.e. doesnt mind running back and getting stuck in.

Black did really well on Saturday - if he can continue in this vein he'll be a real asset for the rest of the campaign.

Tommy Black has hit a real good run of form, since he was pushed upfront as an emergency striker.

His carried the form over to the right wing. His clipped ball to the back stick in the first half on saturday when Gower volleyed wide was superb.

Agreed that was good. On the otherhand his defensive "work" was shocking and he failed to put Lee Barnard through on at least 3 occasions.

Though Tommy had a decent game, Macca seemed to make Team of the Week in all the Sunday papers and in the Sun today. :D
