Layer Road End

Prodigal Son

Manager
I will be slated for posting this but we could not hear you in the Layer Road End from the away seats.

You all had the chance to stand up for 90 minutes without getting told off so why so quiet?

I suspect it sounded good if you were in there.

Could you hear us?

Amazed at the lack of segregation?

If Col U did go up the likes of Leeds fans would have a field day.

It is always the same at Layer Road, you think the area of the ground you are in is loud and the rest is quiet no matter what stand you are in.
For some reason the sound does not travel, it appears to go up in to the roofs rather than on the pitch.

Funny really the only time we heard you from my position in Terrace One was when we got the goals - very quiet. Was jumping at our end (see other thread) but I suspect it was the same at yours we just couldn't hear each other. Still as long as the players heard thats the important thing, and they'd have had to be deaf not to hear us in the terrace this afternoon

Thanks for the clarification.

No taps in the toilets, not very hygenic.

Ever have problems with lack of segregation?

I thought that was the case.
