blue heaven
Coach
Just seen on bbc tele text that Grays have dumped peanut, how the mighty have fallen.
Oh...what memories.
I remember when he scored 3 goals in 2 games- coincedentally prompting interest from West Ham and Charlton.
Ohhhhh those were the days.:hilarious:
So what you're saying is Tilson Out because he let Kights go?i thought he had an excellent touch and a good eye for goal. he wasn't the quickest or strongest but he always looked like he had some ability but not the mental strength to really progress. shame because he could have been a good player if he worked hard (plus it was him instead of kights if i remember correctly)

He really wasn't mighty though. In fact I always felt that he was destined for a career at the very bottom of the pyramid. No pace, no strength and no obvious footballing ability.

Why must you keep bringing that up? Kights has gone, just leave it now Josh!
Whilst he had no pace and no strength, he did at least have a footballing brain as evidenced by his good movement. He played a small but significant part in our title winning season and I wish him well.
agreed... he did really well when called upon and arguably kick-started our run up the table. scored 2 goals in two games (both wins) and at the time i don't really remember people saying he was conference south at best, more likely a decent lower league striker if he worked hard
