It was a headbutt, for which he received a straight red. Not sure about the specifics I'm afraid.

Oh dear. I hope that's just a mad red-mist moment and not a feature of his everyday play.

He was fouled, then when trying to get the ball back to take the freekick quickly was held back by there black player with dreadlocks (I dont know his name ;)) Basically they pushed him around he got up and went to headbutt him.

saw it on big league weekend. Couldn't really see what he did because there players head was in the way, but it was literally in front of the refs face. There guy with the dreadlocks should have gone aswell though, after laurent was fouled there guy stamped on his right leg when laurent was trying to get up. Shouldn't have headbutted him, but from all accounts it sounds like they were widing him up all game.

the initial challenge was nasty and deserved a red but as a telford fan i'm glad he's out.
