Laudrup takes over at Swansea

Out of interest, why do you say that he's going to need it? Swansea have a great set-up and they appoint managers who fit the club, which Laudrup does. Rodgers is clearly a good manager but the groundwork for him had already been done.

Unless Laudrup is a complete flop then I think they'll have another good season.

And I'd tip them for relegation.I've got nothing against Laudrup,in fact I think he's a really nice guy.I was there at the Nou Camp the night he was booed off the field playing for Real Madrid at half time(he was in tears) and didn't return for the second half.He didn't want to move,Cruyff wanted him out.That single thing has turned me off Barça's so-called supporters more than anything else has.He always gave them 100% as a player.
His Getafe side played excellent football but things didn't go so well for him at Mallorca.His English is great but that won't be enough to save him if things start to go wrong,which I suspect they will.
 
That doesn't answer my question. Why do you suspect they will go wrong? What is he going to get wrong which Rodgers got right? It'll be the same players by the looks of things.

No more than a hunch.Though I thought Swansea overachieved(bystaying up)last season.
