Confident enough to say not particularly New News.

But now confirmed on the back Page of The Echo Today and the headline reads:

Wages wait for players.

Wasnt there tweet yesterday to say wages had been paid?

Last tweet on the subject from Chris P, yesterday morn:

@CJPhillips1982: Not all of the players have been paid yet and the backroom staff haven't either. @SUFCRootsHall

Begs the question what will happen for payday in June and July with no football (apart from overpriced friendlies). I suppose the stadium deal being finalised within 'days' will help.

Same as before then. Anyone staying gets paid, any one who is leaving hasnt.

Yeah the stadium thing on the 10th will help if all goes well. But that doesn't mean building work literally starts there and then. Still a further 2 or 3 what you would call smallish obstacles still to overcome. Remaining shops being one.

Shops not an issue .If you remember the council has said that if the remaining shops don't take an offer to them .A compulsory purchase order would be issued to move them .

yeah i thought that. probably is the case but the echo artickle on the days away suggested the remaining shop staff were still to be convinced of going and diiging their heels in.

Surely the shops not selling up will only prevent Sainsburys from starting work on Roots Hall, and they can't do that until we move out into our 3 sided thing. So wouldn't have thought it would stop work starting on Fossetts Farm, and it is just down to the council handing, sorry selling, the freehold for the Boots & Laces training ground to us, opps I mean Ron.

Looked at the article again and it says. Ron still needs to buy training ground. No shops mentioned I hold my hands up. Lets hope the CPO'S don't expire any time soon if they ever do.

Sainsburys must obtain the flats at St Marys Court. And prospects College and three shops. In the article titled - key sites must be bought. the deals for flats agreed but a delay in transaction.

Yep and a CPO process could take a very very long time.

I would expect some sort of re-housing scheme is in order for residents in the flats as well.

More delays.
