Trying to watch Late Kick Off on iplayer as I only get London on the TV.

Anyone else having the same probem?

IDidn't miss much, the highlights were a farce. Sob story on Northamptons struggles and showed every chance they had and implied that Southend produced a smash and grab last nine mins. Perry Groves also said 'never a pen'!!!

What a joke, stats show we dominated 70 mins of that game Saturday and deserved the win.

I felt at the time that it was a pretty soft pen but there's no denying we dominated that game and fully deserved our goals and win. They played their part in a cracking game but we were by far the better side

Yeah they did a bit of a hatchet job on us, banging on about how unlucky Northampton were while neglecting to show any of our efforts in the first 15mins of the 2nd half which could have put us out of sight on another day. On the whole though, I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't bang on about Ipswich and Norwich for 25 minutes which is what the previous guises of this programme have tended to do. Decent feature on NTFC and their struggles too.

On the East version did anyone note the offer made by Pete W*****man of MK **** to the Carlisle fans after their postponement. Free coach travel, free tickets and you could bring a friend too. Wonder if Aldershot were watching.

Perry Groves should keep his gob shut about penalties, he can cheat with the best. Remember him taking a dive in the box playing for the Ars**** against Watford in a cup tie which resulted in the keepers dismissal and the Ars**** going on to win. Still what can you expect from an inbred.

I think the fact that MK usually have over 10,000 empty seats might have influenced his offer HB :winking:

And he gave all the Carlisle fans a free meal at the stadium - 'Cos it's got to be better than motorway food on the way back'.

Must say that I've never had much time for Franchise and PW but credit where it's due, he made sure they did the right thing, and obviously got some good PR out of it. :winking:
