I thought Chester came last night seemingly intent on putting a puncture in our promotion hopes by coming to spoil and not play - hoping to nick whatever they could from the match. Their poor tactics meant the atmosphere was a bit flat, perhaps our expectations have been over inflated recently, but most fans could see that Chester were a poor side and anything less than a win would be a let down.

But we kept plugging away and thankfully Lawrie Dudfield found himself spare in the box and got the winner right at the end to get us all pumped up for the Christmas period.
