King of the chip shop menu.

The Fresh Prince of Belfairs⭐⭐🦐
The subject came up at work and although I love skate it is expensive and I have had a few dodgy bits.

For consistency and value does anything beat the saveloy, battered sausage or steak and kidney pie?

I often go for a battered sausage these days.

*can't write anything these days without some dubious double entendre lurking round the corner* ;)

Battered sausage, Sav and small chips for me every time.

when i was in edinburgh it was fish supper with salt and sauce. fish was always haddock - not much else fish on the menu, the sauce bit i think was a strange worcester/vinegar mix - unique to edinburgh

nowadays is cod and chips.

Had a lovely cod and chips from oldhams down west road the other day! I tend to mix it up, sometimes cod or pie or battered sausage.
