Kidderminster 1 -  3 Southend United

southend4ever

I used to play a little.
Come on Southend...

Noticeably some great character shining through for the blue boys. To concede in the 79th minute and then reply with 2 to get a 3 -1 win is superb.

The team dominated proceedings again today. Ron Martin on the pitch at the end. Seems to me that the squad are really pulling together?

Everyone happy with that?

Hopefully not too serious, sounded like Bentley's was worse than Bramble's. I wonder how Carl Pettefer played in the centre of midfield. Whats going to happen when Gower is fit i dont know

Great result. I wonder if they were worse than R & D the worst team i've seen in many a long year. Must get as many points as possible in Jan because Feb will be our make or make month. Darlo end Jan followed by Swansea,Sc**thorpe, northampton. Come on you Blues!

Someone pinch me, what a great start to the new year, 2 games and 2 wins.

Anyone wanna complain about Tillys team selection now ?

We really do have a crucial few games coming up and Swansea and Scunny are both beatable, i just hope we can keep it going.

its great being 4th !

UP THE SHRIMPERS !

great result today. great vocal support too. things are looking good. according to jim stannard the injuries to tess and bents arent too bad. kick on you blues !

I suppose the good news is our next game is not until next Wednesday against Boston. This should give our walking wounded a little longer ton recuperate!

Just seen the goals on SSN, cracking finish by Nicky, and nice to see Freddy actually celebrate a goal by running away and pointing to the name on the back of his shirt after his second. The moody 'not bothered' after scoring look was getting tiring. Cheer up Freddy!

Kidderminster weren't as bad as their league position suggests. they are alot better than many of the teams we have played this year and seemed sharper and more up for it than us (mainly in the second half).

Just like the other game against mansfield and rushden it took them having a go at us late on and scoring to actually kick us into life. If we play like we have in the last ten minutes we could put teams out of sight by half time. Performance was ok today- you cant really complain about it when we win 3-1.
Hopefully Tes and Bentley wont be out injured too long.

Good atmosphere today- i thought there was about 550-600 of us and everyone got behind the team.

Bring on Boston

463 according to harriers.co.uk. I just missed the goals on SSN by 2 minutes but will make sure i catch them in the next hour. Superb day, great journey, lovely pub, great little ground, great last 10m minutes.

EIEIEIO UP THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WE GO ...

If there's a next time, try the King & Castle, five minutes from the ground. Five real ales on handpump including one mild. Prices ranges from £1.10 to £1.90 a pint!! Imagine two pints and change from three quid!!
