Key dates for close season?

it will be the usual problem with Brackley and Truro, both grounds are so small the away fans allocation will be minimal much less than we got for FGR in the play offs
Do you mean the "unusual" problem? No-one was complaining about away allocations at any point last season until FGR away in the play-offs... Do you actually think we're gonna take loads to Truro in the regular season. Unless it's literally first game of the season it's never gonna be a problem

Non-League Paper are reporting that the National League Cup will continue. Leeds Utd beat Sutton in the final last year. I hope we're nowhere near that again.

Agree 100%

There is literally no point in us being involved (well the tournament as a whole) but I’d love us to pull something together in both FA Cup and FA Trophy.

This trophy is nonsense

Truro is gonna be a real badge of honour. They are, by far, the highest Cornish team in the pyramid and barely anyone will ever get to go to Cornwall for a football game. I would be stunned if they don't have to increase their initial allocation for us, perhaps even twice.

They'll only be able to increase the allocation if there's insufficient demand from home supporters, which is highly unlikely. Truro's final two matches of the season (against Torquay United and St Albans City) were all-ticket, with the St Albans match selling out. Torquay's allocation for a fully-segregated fixture on Good Friday was 550.

Truro as poster above mentions are a well supported team in relation to their ground capacity. We will be seen us a big fixture to them and our allocation will probably make getting a ticket difficult.Especially if the game has real importance for us

It’s definitely a “badge of honour” fixture, like the first time we played Gateshead - a bit of an “I was there” one. Out of my group, it’s the one we’re all taking about…there are flights from Southend to Newquay so very much a big day out. We’d easily sell more than 550, if that’s what they’re capping the away capacity at.

Truth is though the stadium is ****e and miles out of town. Poorest view in the national league since we have been in it? Oxford city was diabolical. Any others?

Well that might take the edge off the demand! Looking at pictures on the internet it makes Southchurch Park look like Wembley...

Why do they hate fans so much?

County Cricket releases its fixture list approximately four months in advance.

The NFL announces its fixture list four months in advance.

MLB announces its fixture list nine months in advance.

The NL waits until a month before the season to deign to tell fans when we will be travelling to Truro or Carlisle.

I get that 4 months isn’t going to be possible because participants aren’t confirmed until much later in football but there’s a bigger gap between the season ending and the fixtures being announced than there is between the fixtures being announced and the season starting. That’s insane.

Announcing games just a month in advance shows a complete disrespect towards fans who may want to attend games.
Totally agree with this, and I would say I don't understand why they can't get their act together, but after the play off ticket fiasco, I have no faith in the competence of the National league and understand organisation isn't their strong point.
