Kevin McLeod

Stats

aka Ian Poulter
Swansea are trying to shift him before the transfer deadline whether it be permanent or just a loan deal

Would he be worth a punt?

Don't think Swansea want to make their promotion rivals stronger by loaning their player can they

Another thing, K. McLeod is not Tilson type players as he is an known troublemaker, ask Swansea.

I find it somewhat strange when people refer to players as trouble, in a certain Mr Stanley Victor Collymore didn't we have the ultimate trouble maker.

Yes, but since:

(a) one of Kevin's catch-phrases is all about us "building our dream" - i.e. getting us promoted; and

(b) we could save costs by having him play as winger at the weekend, and act as architect for our new stadium during the week...

...then I think he'd be a great signing!

But he seems such a nice bloke on Channel 4.

Another reason why you should never believe what you see on the telly

I wouldn't mind if we didn't sign any tw&t with the name McLeod. After that t%$&*rs performance for Franchise FC on Saturday, if he is a c-nut as well, then no thanks. I would rather Tilly put his England Under 21 contact to use and sign a young, talented striker.

That really is shocking

How will he fit in with their route one style?

I think the most fitting analogy to sum up McLeod in my opinion is that he's very much a Mitchell Cole-type with lightning pace and trickery - however he's a lot further down the line than Cole who's still learning the game and making too many mistakes, McLeod has a lot of experience with 3 different League clubs and will be far more useful to us than Mitch at this time. If we are to use him from the off though we'll need to switch Gower to the right as McLeod is EXTREMELY one-footed.......

Can't keep pace with the transfer rumours though - at the start of the week I heard he was going to Chester and then yesterday it seemed he was off to Sheffield Wednesday!!!

Donny wanted him to replace McIndoe, and Bristol City were also pretty interested, as were Col******r I believe.
