Kevin Maher's Future..

I'm sure they do.

I reckon he could hold his own in a mid-table League One side, however.

The trouble is that there aren't many League One clubs in this part of the World and it would be a big ask to move up North at this stage of his career considering he'd probably be on a comparable wage at Gillingham.

Orient would seem like the most natural fit for him, Ling has wanted him in the past but the difference now is that they have Thornton who plays the playmaker role in the middle of midfield but, frankly, is a better player. Peterbrough and MK Dons are possibilities - Barry Fry will know all about him and the Dons seem to like bringing in experienced Pros, but unless either of those clubs make a move then I think Gillingham probably have a decent chance of getting him.

Hard to imagine Maher back at the Hall playing for someone else!

Hope he goes to the Gills as you know he'll put the performance of a life time in against us!
Mind you,a Bailey/Macca/Maher clash sounds intruiging indeed.

I hope Maher doesn't go to Orient. It would be such a horrible mix Orient at home, wanting to wish him well yet hoping that he is utter tosh.

I honestly hope there would be no boo's for a 'betrayal', afterall I'm sure he'd love to be playing first team football for us.

Maher has been a great servant to the club but overstepped the mark on the training, dont care who he goes to, cos the fact is bailey & macca will make him look the second rate player he has now turned into.

Thanks Kev but i doubt we will look back and say we should have kept you

That just does not look right. :(

The memories of getting promotion twice in 2 years. Him being an exceptional passer of the football. Him being a catalyst in our recent success! Him spending 10 years at a club outside of the Premiership. Do i need to give anymore?

Erm when was he ever going to play in the prem!!!!!!

Didnt say he was going to play in the Prem. Stated a fact about him spending 10 years at a club OUTSIDE of the Premiership. Very unlike players in this day to stay for that considerable amount of time at one club.

How many times - there was no training ground bust up, he was left out for purely footballing reasons.

Billericay Blue, there was a bust up between Maher & Moussa. I am good friends with a close friend of Moussa and i have hear it from the Moose himself.

END OF!
