Whilst Southend were beating Luton 2-0, King Kev was inspiring the Gills to a 4-0 defeat.

Tilson out.

Incidentally, Adam Miller was the only other ex-Southend player playing for Gillingham. I think Bentley (where is that bowing smilie?) is injured, Sodje is on loan at Bury and inspiring them to a 2-1 win and Thurgood is probably suspended.

Roycie is currently unwell I believe, with Bentley and Thurgood injured. Richards is obviously suspended.

Having seen the goals this morning, it ws Maher's horrible air kick that led to the first Hartlepool goal. Oh and dear.

I have also seen the goals, Kev did not look at the races, however he has not played for a while, needs match sharpness. That and the fact Gills are really ****

I am not ashamed to admit that I cried when I saw King Kev's name under the 'Ex-Shrimper's' section -(NOT with joy!).

Come back Kev- your presence yesterday was missed!

Having seen the Hartlepool goals the second is another of those occasions where Kevin Maher can be seen busting a gut to get back from midfield to help out the defence as Joel Porter goes through alone to notch.

Some very strong words from Stimmo here. Is he on borrowed time?

Not sure that even the prize knob that is Scally would boot Stimson at this stage. It seems to me that he has opted for too many non league players to step up two divisions and save a poor side from the drop. I wonder what the people who advocated Stmmo for Tilly think now.
