Kev Maher brought down in 1st half.

Looked it from the East Greens, but anyone lurking who was sitting in the northern part of the west stand would have had a better view...

Just before he was booked (and just kept talking back to the ref), for a horrible minute it looked like he was going to get a red card. Thank god it was only a yellow

As for the penalty appeal, it was certainly a spectacular fall..might have influenced the ref

Couldnt see for Barratts...

When he was brought down I think Maher had lost control of the ball and it was going off for a goal kick. Maybe that was why it wasn't given. Referees amongst you may confirm this.
Personally, I think Mr Singh had another good game, he let it flow.

That's where I sit. A dive, I'm afraid.

Pools mad said it looked like one, Pool rivals said he should have been off for diving.

Agree it was a dive, but diving is a yellow card, not red.

Would have been a second yellow.

He was already booked I think.

Cant agree with that one i thought it was his birthday and someone had bought him a new whistle.

Will put my objective hat on for this one.
The ball did run away from him.
He was not going to score.
Pretty sure he dived.
Sooo-ooo...he should have been sent off.
Sorry.

Yeah, a pen would have been a bit harsh - looked like a bit of a dive. Barrett's was more of a pen IMO

If it was a dive, I hope Tilly gives him an earful about it. We don't want a reputation like Chelsea's.

excuse me folks but I thought Porter spent more time winging on the floor and diving like he had been shot then kev would know how to If Porter spent more time on two feet he might have the making of a half decent player

cast iron penalty from my view!! however i'm in the South Upper so that don't really count!!

and i am biased!!

At the time I wasn't sure (I was in the South Upper too) but having looked at the BluesWorld highlights, Konstantopoulos (spelling?) definitely caught Maher. However, maybe Mr Singh thought Maher didn't have control of the ball, hence awarding the goal kick and not booking Maher for a 'dive'.
