I listened to the sports phone in on Welsh radio tonight and got the following info...

* Swansea are still negotiating and the situ is not dead from their end.
* They do not want to sell him - even if he doesnt sign.
* They have offically turned down 2 bids - us and Cardiff - end of.
* They will not sell for less than £500,000.
* When asked if Swansea were signing Koumas, KJ said they have Robinson why do they want Koumas?
* He says Robinsons personality (i.e. good) means the chance of keeping him is not dead.
* In an aside, KJ almost admitted to losing the dressing room (I took it that by dropping Trundle he f**Ked up).

Still no clearer really - but even if he does leave I doubt we can afford a transfer fee or wages.

Sorry chaps, looks like its hopeless.

I seem to remember Barry Fry saying we wouldn't sell Collymore for less than £5m and also calling Andy Edwards a £3m player. I think Jackett was talking up the price rather than being realistic.

We shall see though.

He's kidding himself if he thinks they can get £500,000 for someone who's on a free in 12 months time. Secondly, if Robinson wants to leave, they won't be keeping him beyond August 31st.


Despite those 2 things, we won't be signing him though.

I agree.

The comments about his good attitude and the high price Swansea want, together with the usual 'we'd be prepared to keep him for another year and lose him for free, he's that important to us' are all designed to get the buyers into a bidding frenzy.

However, that all points to us being priced out I'm afraid
