Hypothetical question I know, but with funds tight at the club and with the squad we have assembled, we maybe have an offer on the table for Kane and with the Rohan deal still floating about, who would you prefer we had going into the new season?

Strictly speaking we aren't going to buy Ricketts as he's a free agent. Ideally I'd like to have both, but how realistic is that? Given that we aren't exactly flush with cash. I can't see Ferdinand being on a huge wage and Ricketts is after all unemplyed and looking for work, with him it will depend on what interest there is elsewhere.

I think at some point we'll sell Ferdinand, but as a selling club for once we can at least get a fee and with add ons that'll suit SUFC and not as a firesale like Lee Barnard for instance.

We should keep Ferdinand and try to get Ricketts, however I would not swap the two. I like attackers and Ricketts would (hopefully) improve our quality in that area, but I feel we will need the protection that Kane gives the back four over the coming season and we already have very decent wingers for this level in Hall and Johnson.

I'd want both. But if it was an either/or, I'd go with Kane. He's already good, and he's only going to get better; he's the more certain long-term bet, IMHO...

I'd have to go with Kane.

I've seen Rohan do the business at Wakering, but it was Wakering.... he has a lot to prove before he is heralded as the new messiah as some people on here seem to be doing!

Obviously would like both. If both were only considered on what they'd bring to the table football wise, and potential, I think I'd keep Kane. Close one though.

ideally both, but we do need to trim our wage budget and a decent offer for Kane should be considered definitely.

At this precise moment, I think Kane is more important however, if we were able to get Ro-Rick as well then I say AYE!!!
