Just look at these topics on here,

For gods sake is this the best you can do. We are in a very decent league with flowing football which is a joy to behold and keeps you on the edge of your seat, not wanting the match to end and what do you get on this oh so safe and clicky board....... just scroll down and yawn!

feel free to start a more interesting one...

Here here!!

This thread could have been about something SUFC related, but no. You instead use it to moan about other threads on here, what's the point wiggy?

Think this thread should be moved to the pub or anywhere but here!

I don't know why I find this funny but as someone who likes people "poking sticks in wasps nests" and anyone into a bit of rabble rousing and baiting I applaud.
biggrin.gif

C'mon...... keeps us on our toes and stops us getting stagnant and dull.
Wiggy...as loz says, what topics would you like to see or read about and yes, why not start them?

Sometimes posters raise valid points, but is there so little to talk about at the moment?

New season, reasonable start, we're above ColU, Sunderland haven't sold their allocation and will be sending tickets to Roots Hall for sale on the day tomorrow, the weather's poop for August, next doors cat's called Shrimper... I won't say any more, because I am a foreigner to these parts.
oops.gif

Maybe a couple of player transfers will liven things up?

Wiggy - you're boring and predictable. The only thing about SZ that regularly makes me yawn is you, but I know you're not real so what do I care.

Even Flavs v Collis is better than whats on offer, my opinion, Collis is tall, better than Bart, slow to get down and never be as good as Flavs, anyone? or are you all discussing Freddys gypsy home?

Ha ha.

Wiggy, Artful summed it up well and I also welcome your talent for "poking sticks in wasp nests", but as for boring and predictable, you yourself have started just one post recently (prior to this one). It was indeed both boring and predictable.

"We are in a very decent league with flowing football which is a joy to behold and keeps you on the edge of your seat, not wanting the match to end and what do..." you post?

"Guttridge needs to be dropped!"

As I said above, entirely boring.
And woefully predictable!

BTW, I think you've surpassed yourself with this thread. THIS one is neither boring, nor predictable although it does display the usual unintentional irony that we've come to expect from you. Nonetheless, I'm sure it will acheive its usual seven pages as us numbnuts bite on Wiggy bait!

The Gutts thing nearly every press reporter agrees with, have a look at the Little Gazette report, it is an accurate assesment throughout. Only on here do you get people that refuse to open there eyes with certain players and i would suspect that Gutteridge is nowhere near as good as you lot seem to think. After all didn't he struggle to get in the Cambridge team, attitude or otherwise! Time will tell and as an unbiased friend and Brighton fan said to me at the Palace and QPR games, blimey your midfield don't create or get forward much do they. With an asset like Eastwood we should be providing for him starting with midfield, if we accept that the captains place is cemented then surely a positive player next to him should be sought and i am afraid at the moment that player is not Luke Gutteridge!

Ah yes! The Little Gazette is indeed THE cream of sports reporting in the UK!

Actually, no he didn't struggle to get into the Cambridge team - he just didn't want to play on the wing. Just after we signed him, a Cambridge fan I spoke to talked about him being the best player they'd had there in donkey's years.

Personally, I'd agree that Gutts has not been up to his usually high standard this season. Perhaps it will take him time to get up to speed with the new level of football.

Actually, I've yet to see Collis... I hadn't even noticed he'd come on at half time at QPR, though to be fair he was a spectator in the second half!

oops.gif

As for the main board, I suspect that, to a certain extent, people have gone into their shells a little bit. We're not used to losing two on the bounce - but, equally, only a certifiable loon would come on here criticising the manager after what he's achieved thus far in his Blues career.

Let's see how we get on against Sunderland. If we play as poorly as we did in the first half against QPR, I imagine the chorus of disapproval will increase in volume; if we play as well as we did in the first half against Palace, I imagine that people will be waxing lyrical once more.

Matt

so what you're saying Matt is that people will be happy if we play well, and less happy if we don't? I'd hate to be up against you in court....
