Just got back

Oh boy what to say?

The ref was terrible and incredibly biased towards Walsall - but to be honest it wouldn't of changed the outcome. Yorkshire Blue commented on how Walsall played like we used to - short zippy passes through the middle - we just seem to hoof it up field these days and leave Barnard to chase shadows.

Revell was anonymous. Mildenhall was too keen to punch rather than catch the ball.

Moderately brighter when Scannell / Walker came on but it was all over by then.

I HOPE this was a bad day at the office but this was a miserable, jaded lifeless performance. Gower has left a huge hole in our team, one bigger than Freddy Eastwood ever left.

I haven't seen much of Mild' but he seems to treat the ball like a hot potato.

Sorry I encouraged you to go Paul! Let's look on the bright side, surely things have to get better!

Definitely contemplating the effort, bother & cost of going to Carlisle next week now. I've seen us on the end of a heavy defeat there far too often & to be honest have enjoyed the past two 2-1 victories there. Got no wish to sully the memory of those days if we put in such a shambolic performance this coming weekend!
