I think you'll find that our away following are up for anything! They're a good bunch and will bring a lot of colour and noise to your ground!

Just to remind you, or in case you aren't aware, this is what we were like at Donny in the Play Offs last year - have a look at about 2 and a half mins in and see just how fantastic our away supporters are.

What d'you mean "lost the rights"?

The BBC and Sky lost the rights to broadcast FA Cup matches when the FA signed a new deal with ITV and Setanta to cover the competition from this season.

Therefore, you will no longer be able to watch highlights and all the goals on Match of the Day on the BBC, but you will be able to watch FA Cup Highlights on ITV. The 1st Round show is on itv1 tonight starting at 10.35pm.

ITV don't have a red button facility do they?
So the goals won't be streamed for a day or so like on BBC will they?

I don't think they do, no. Certainly not one that's ever been any good, anyway!

I guess though they may well put up the goals on their website, as they do seem to be promoting it a lot as "the place to watch football online".

It seems the itv website has confirmed my suspicions:

This week on itv.com

It's FA Cup first round weekend and we'll be covering all the thrills and spills in unprecedented depth.

Regular readers will know that we've been offering video highlights of selected FA Cup ties ever since the extra-preliminary round kicked off in August.

So how do you top that? By offering video highlights of EVERY single first round game, that's how! We'll have clips of all the weekend's games available on the site from first thing Monday morning.

Plus you'll be able to watch ITV Sport's live coverage of Havant & Waterlooville v Brentford and the second round draw on Sunday afternoon. The show will run on ITV1 and itv.com from 12.55pm to 4.15pm.

Finally, from Monday morning we'll have our usual round up of the best action from at home and abroad with highlights from the Premier League, Football League, Serie A and beyond. As ever these can be accessed from the player to the right of the screen

So basically, what Virgin Media usually offer in terms of league games then?

Slightly off topic, but is Serie A shown anywhere on TV these days? It's not on Ch5 anymore is it? Do Setanta still have Italian footy?

No, I have heard that maybe, just maybe, Setanta have been trying to negotiate a new deal to show Serie A, but I'm not sure anything has come of it as yet.

However, there is live Italian football on TV, as new channel SportsXchange has bought the rights to the Italian Cup. The competition is at the last 16 stage, with most of the major Serie A teams still in the running.

Their coverage kicks off with the game between Udinese and Reggiana on Wednesday, and they will be showing all the remaining games, including the final.

Coppa Italia last 16:
Udinese-Reggina (November 12)
Napoli-Salernitana (November 12)
Milan-Lazio (December 3)
Fiorentina-Torino (December 17)
Roma-Bologna (December 17)
Inter-Genoa (January 13)
Sampdoria-Empoli (January 14)
Juventus-Catania (January 14)

SportsXchange is available free-to-air on Sky channel 456, but the games are also available on their website, www.sportsxchange.tv
