Just a quick point.....

We have the same number of points as we did this stage of both last season and our 04/05 promotion season and only one less than we had at this stage in our 05/06 promotion season.

We are traditional slow starters and very often we suddenly kick on in September. Can we all just have an incy wincy bit of patience please before we fill this board with all the tosh that's cluttering it up. 4 league games is not a crisis, true performances have not been great but we're bedding in a lot of new players.

Nick a result up at Carlisle and then beat Hereford next week and things will look fine again (though admittedly losing those two would move me into the concerned camp!!).

Only issue is to nick a result will mean scoring 5 or 6 goals :)

You are right its not the time to throw in the towel but we are in an awful mini-slump and I think we will get beaten on Saturday so need to start getting it together very soon.

dont come on here with ya facts B how dare you we are doomed aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhh

i've haven't been posting that much!!!

but agreed... we're often slow starters, although the worrying thing for many is the way we have lost the last couple of games. i'm sure things will turn around and Carlisle could be a rewarding game for those making the long trip up there

There's slow-starting, and then there's conceding nine in two. Which highlights an issue. A real issue.

Valid point. Had we been dumped out of two cups in those seasons?

The big difference between this season and last season is that we had a steady goalkeeper and a decent backup, both of who had the teams, fans and managements confidence. We also had 3 reliable central midfield players and some flair out wide.

Unless Tilly can get a couple of good loan players in, we are weak in central midfield, not much flair anywhere, and decidedly dodgy at the back and have a keeper playing with no confidence.

Our price for relegation with Corals is down to 15/2
