Jupp- unhappy bunny?

Napster

No ⭐
Two games running Jupp is clearly not happy with the way things are going for some reason. At Huddersfield, he told the home fans to eff off, then at the end of the game went to run off the pitch- Tilly had to force him to clap the fans (unlike Drewe who was the first over).

Yesterday he had a go at Constantine and Cort and was moaning at the bench- again although he clapped the Greens, he was just going through the motions- Tilly ran on the pitch and hugged him in celebration, and only then did Jupp actually look like he's just been part of a winning side.

Interesting.

He seems to get a bit of stick in the West, which i dont really see why. O.k he likes to get up and attack on the wing and sometimes leaves his position vacant for a little too long. But when he puts in a good cross people love him, when he fails to do much people get on his back. The guy seems to give it is all so why not give him a break?

. He also told a crowd in block w to f**k off about a month ago!

. I reckon he's a bit hard!

Yesterday's game in the second half he was moaning to the bench about "the lazy sod" Bramble telling the bench to get him off. He also was having beef with Cort who he told to do one.
I quite like Jupp. He seems to be a committed player and can be useful going forward and is always looking to provide another option on the right.

I like Jupp. He cant defend very well but he's brilliant at getting forward. He links up well with whoever is on the right-side and i hope he is given a 1 year contract for next season as well. At 2-2 Juppy was looking for a short throw so we could try and play it forward but all Cort was interested in was getting him to chuck it 30 yards down the line up towards Bramble and Connie. About 5 minutes later, Jupp knocked quite an aimless ball forward, which was gettable, but Bramble didnt look interested and Jupp told Tilly and Brush to get Bramble working harder.

Jupp is probably the best right back we have had for a while, and even though he does have a moan, at least it shows he does give a damn. I think his comments on Bramble were agreed with by the vast majority of the 5000 odd Blues fans there yesterday.

I like the sentiment but I'd have thought a defender should actualy be able to defend well before anything else.

He can defend better than any other player we have that can play there. Therefore for now Jupp satys and I for one am more than happy with that. However if stays for next season who knows?

Good point, but i'd still welcome roberto carlos any day!

The best "teams" are where players aren't afraid to have a beef with each other over various issues such as committment, positioning, etc. This is not Jupp showing dissent, just a bit of passion, and lets not forget he has played in the Premiership.

Personally I think he'd make a good skipper. He'd probably get another 10% out of the players effort wise.

Jupp was superb yesterday, in the first half at least. Every time he got the ball, he looked for ways he could get the team going forwards again (a compliment levelled at Zidane a lot!). His workrate was the best on the pitch and he dealt with situations in defence soundly. Couldn't see so well for the second half but he seemed to take it upon himself to attack their full back where Connie/Bramble had failed.

For me, he had every right to have a go cos there was rarely a right wing outlet for him to pass to so he was consistently ten-twenty yards ahead of the rest of the defence. In my view, he was better than Gower but Gower's goal was pretty special and pretty significant so it'd have taken a brave GKC comms man to award MotM to Jupp!

I to noticed that Jupp didnt seem happy at all in the last two games. At Hudddersfield he was going straight down the tunnel before tilly rightly so sent him over to clap the fans,

And I noticed yesterday he had the hump with Bramble and then he and Bently seemed to have some misunderstanding, Jupp wouldnt even pass or talk to Bently, then again at the end of the game he wanted to go straight down the tunnel all very strange

Maybe he just smells and his cr*p clothes have gone to such an extreme that no-one talks to him anymore!!

Maybe he is a player who actually cares about the performance he puts in week in week out as well as the teams performance.
Maybe he gets frustrated when he sees a player who he percieves is not pulling his weight.
Maybe he is a player who is not willing to play safe all the time and instead seeks to put the game out of reach of our opponents.
Maybe he is just a player who has a really really stupid run and thrusts his head and neck forward

Juppy had a solid performance yesterday, but I did see him having words with the troops during the game (possible captain?). He is right to have a go at people for not pulling their weight, and for Bramble that weight is a lot. Even if a player seemingly over-hits a pass, you still run after it and then you can be the one to have a go.

For me Jupp seems solid, and a good right back for the club. He is tough in the tackle, and his only fault is his cut in to his left foot which is sometimes read by an opponent who disposses him. It's good to see that he has two good feet for crossing, and I'd take his crosses over Gower's any day.

Jupp is class! His work rate is outstanding and the fact that he has a go at players if their not pulling their weight shows to me he has a great passion to do well.  I think that against Huddersfield (I didn't see Monday's) he wanted to go because he didn't feel as though he'd done his best.  Although that could just be my perspective on the matter?!?!

Possibly slightly more consistent but one of Gower's in the second half was put between two defender's plum on Drewe's head. Sort of class you rarely see in this division.
