We’re delighted to announce that Jordan Young has signed a new contract with Yeovil Town Football Club until Summer 2026.
The 24-year-old forward, who joined the club in January 2023, has been a standout performer and fan favourite at Huish Park.
Young even managed to score his 12th goal of the season this afternoon in what has been his best season in front of goal.
looks like wherever the interest is from he is going to cost a bit, which would probably put him out of our recruitment fit?
Yeovil Town have received an offer from an unnamed National League club for winger Jordan Young.
Manager Mark Cooper confirmed the offer following the 3-1 home win over Maidenhead United on Saturday which saw the 25-year-old left out of the squad.
Speaking to BBC Somerset’s Ian Randall after the game, the boss called on supporters to trust him with decisions about the Glovers’ playing squad.
He said: “We have had an offer for Jordan, so we are discussing that and we will take some time over the weekend to consider that. All I will say is we have to keep evolving we have to keep making the squad better and make sure everyone who comes here is desperate to play for us and all I will say is trust what we are doing.”
Young, who joined from Chippenham Town in January 2023, appeared off the substitutes’ bench in the 0-0 draw at Tamworth on Tuesday night, but was not in the squad against Maidenhead.

I didn't think we would be. Just wanted to smother this at birth.
The cup run or lack of it, will obviously play a part in any transfer business I would guess.
At the moment we are guaranteed £25k prize money (£10k 4th Qual rnd and £15k rnd 1 losing) if we lose as unbudgeted funds from the FA Cup. Win and we will have £55k in the bin and the 2nd round prize money to come, £20k for losing and £70K for winning, so the difference could be huge to us and as I said it's unbudgeted for, so all bonus funds.
