Jonjo Shelvey

shrimpled

Director⭐🦐
I go to the same school as Jonjo (he's a year 11 student and i am in the sixth form) and he made his first team debut for Charlton Athletic in the CCC aged just 16 and 59 days becoming their youngest ever first team player. He is one to watch and apparently he was their best player today and had one cleared off the line. He captained the England U16's to the victory shield earlier this season, and i wouldn't bet against one day captaining the full England side. I don't know him too well but just thought i'd congratulate him on this achievement.

You should tell him to go and play for us! ;)

Haha, I would like to see that conversation!!

"Hi, I know we have never met, but I know who you are, and I think you should go and play for Southend. I know that you play in the CCC for a top of the table side, who will be expecting to get in the Prem sooner rather than leter, and on your really young debut you were fantastic, but do you really want to play at the Valley every week? Did I mention we are getting a new stadium?"

Maybe telling him he wants a loan deal would work better?

We have met, we had a tiff a couple of years back when he pushed me over when i had a broken arm! I don't think he's too bad a kid, bit cocky, but when you have a talent such as his i suppose you can get away with it. I doubt they'll let him out on loan yet, Pards has told him he's going to be a key player for them next season.

hmm, a cocky young footballer who likes to throw his weight around... the current pro's have proven such good role models to the next generation :thump:
