Jon Lister....SZ 'Friends united'

yogi bear up the cagire

Life President⭐
Used to have a friend back in the late sixties , early seventies, called Jon Lister. Dropped out of contact completely and would be interested if there is any one on here that knows or knew of him. He, like myself, was a keen supporter during that period and was generally behind the goal in either the North or South Stand.
Jon had his mid-life crisis at 18 to 20! and left a job in the City to become a local bus driver. He was friendly with a tall bloke called Martin (also a Blues supporter), who had the same job. Jon hailed from Leigh and his parents house was in Olive Avenue, he had a couple of brothers (one was Thomas) and a sister called Judith. Any help would be appreciated.

Amazing! Have replied to your pm. The funny thing was, that sometime ago there was a post on here, I can't remeber specifically what it was, but I had the strange sensation that it could have been from Jon's brother.............odd!!! An hour later here .........so bed time, will look, with interest to see if there is a reply tomorrow.

And just as I read this thread, Noel Edmonds was being advertised on Sky in the background. Are there going to be any tearful meetings and group hugs? This is getting spooky.
