Just remembered he was on telly the other night in some show or another and i remember thinking where have i seen that bloke before.
I finaly twigged after about five minutes and laughed at what a plum that bloke really is.

This is the same bloke that when Alvin offered his resignation because we were so dreadful he said he wouldnt take it.

If were still in charge now we would be non league without doubt.

Yet he was removed from the Chairmans position at the request of Delancey because "he had gone native" and was paying transfer fees and wages we could not afford and kept going to the backers for more money.

If John Main had not been removed we would not be non league, we would be bust. An Administration petition was withdrawn on the morning of the hearing after the debt was paid, it was paid by Delancey after the guarantee that RM had been removed was given.

I recall that at the time supporters were appalled as JM had been very "supporter friendly" . Ron was feted as the villain of the piece in this and it took a while for him to be accepted with anything other than extreme caution. Colin Wagman was the Delancey Man (along with Jamie Ritblat ) who saw JM off
