Did anyone else notice how thoroughly cheesed off Johnson looked at the half time kick about with the other subs. To be honest I had to look away as it was too cringe worthy.

Well he is just not "doing" it on the pitch..He may not have had a lot of game time but when he has he has not shown much.I can see him on the way out unless there is dramatic improvement in his game.

he got dropped because he didn't play very well, and the reaction says it all.

I actually thought him, Bentley and Merrick were having a laugh.

JJ hasn't performed and whilst I think he will set the Hall on fire when he finally takes his chance, so far he aint been good enough, and he knows it aswell.

With an on fire Hall and JJ on each wing we'd be seriously killing teams even more than we are now. However, JJ is yet to take his chance, give him time, encourage him and he will get there!

It seems that everyone knows it as when he played at home and put in some pretty poor crosses, he was taken off and I heard no negativity really. He's a rhythm player, when he finds that, he'll be a favourite. I'm sure of it.

I hope JJ is given another chance, he has talent but if he is sulking about it then that's not going to help him get another chance. Get your head down, work hard that's the way to prove you deserve another shot.

I would not be surprised if he is either farmed out on loan somewhere, or has his contract terminated.

Be surprised if he gets back in the team. He will have to show some serious form in training/reserves. Hall, Leonard and Timlin have the wide areas to compete for, and when he was put up front against Crawley in the JPT he hardly touched the ball.
Thought he might have got 20 mins or so last night instead of Leonard but I think its clear Luggy doesnt rate him.

He signed him, so he obviously does rate him, he just isn't doing enough to get in the side!

I think I'd probably disagree with that, we are playing really well now within a structure the team and manager are clearly comfortable with. The current set up is either no wingers or one winger (on the odd occasion Hall isn't suspended). I think playing two proper wingers would completely upset the balance we have at the moment which has got us to the top of the league. I'm not suggesting JJ doesn't have potential to be a good player, but I can't see him fitting into the current system unless we have injuries in attacking areas regardless of whether he gets back to his best.

I do agree with that completely.

Not sure how much Luggy actually saw him, he was playing in Bulgaria remember. Think he may have been signed on reputation rather than form. Not trying to totally slate the guy but apart from MK dons he has done very little in his career, and had nearly as many clubs as Drewe Broughton!

Do you reckon? I don't think Paul Sturrock would sign a player on reputation ever, especially with such a tight budget. Could be wrong though.

To be fair he has only had 5 ish clubs where he wasn't on loan.

I'm confident he will come good, and that PS can get what he is capable of out of him!

IMO he actually hasn't done anything during his short time here. He hasn't played well at all but I remember him being a really decent player so hopefully he will come good but I remember him coming on and then getting subbed off at the jpt crawley game (due to dickinson getting a red) where he was just wondering around ball watching.

I do agree thought that if we had him and Hall on form they would be some wingers and teams would be terrified.

Its all about crossing that white line ...i am hearing the other players all rate him and that he trains to a high standard
but when the whistle blows all types of nerves can kick in and he aint produced the goods as yet.
i would say he has to keep a good attitude to the game and that is going to be difficult as others have played there way
in front of him and he is probably boiling with frustration because he wants to show and prove what he can do,
a long season awaits him i fear.
PS has started to get the players knowing what he wants from them both individually and as a team
and now the spirit and belief is starting to show not just those playing or on the bench all the squad are picking up the buzz
just like us.
Trust me this squad has plenty of ability and it is proving that no matter who is picked now the effort is clearly showing
yes there will be a dip and a change around of players all fighting for a start in the line up and that is exactly how i would have wanted it.
So for those not in the team when you get your chance grab it and dont let go and believe me before the season is over
there will be loss of form for some, injuries for others and suspensions for a few.
We will see how JJ Fits in as an when his time comes and it will come ,but one player dont make a team
just give him the support as of any other player you have to remember its also important to him as well as us
UTBs

To not get any game time in an LDV game which we were comfortable in would worry me, he needs a chance while the hole team is playing well as that will definitely help. His chances have come when the team was not on top form.

I would also wholeheartedly agree with this comment players when low on confidence could regain it quicker in a form team
rather than a struggling one its a problem for the boy at the minute lets wait and see how PS will bring him back
