Shrimpers are Magic

Did anyone else notice how thoroughly cheesed off Johnson looked at the half time kick about with the other subs. To be honest I had to look away as it was too cringe worthy.

Be surprised if he gets back in the team. He will have to show some serious form in training/reserves. Hall, Leonard and Timlin have the wide areas to compete for, and when he was put up front against Crawley in the JPT he hardly touched the ball.
Thought he might have got 20 mins or so last night instead of Leonard but I think its clear Luggy doesnt rate him.
I actually thought him, Bentley and Merrick were having a laugh.
JJ hasn't performed and whilst I think he will set the Hall on fire when he finally takes his chance, so far he aint been good enough, and he knows it aswell.
With an on fire Hall and JJ on each wing we'd be seriously killing teams even more than we are now. However, JJ is yet to take his chance, give him time, encourage him and he will get there!
It seems that everyone knows it as when he played at home and put in some pretty poor crosses, he was taken off and I heard no negativity really. He's a rhythm player, when he finds that, he'll be a favourite. I'm sure of it.
I think I'd probably disagree with that, we are playing really well now within a structure the team and manager are clearly comfortable with. The current set up is either no wingers or one winger (on the odd occasion Hall isn't suspended). I think playing two proper wingers would completely upset the balance we have at the moment which has got us to the top of the league. I'm not suggesting JJ doesn't have potential to be a good player, but I can't see him fitting into the current system unless we have injuries in attacking areas regardless of whether he gets back to his best.
He signed him, so he obviously does rate him, he just isn't doing enough to get in the side!
Not sure how much Luggy actually saw him, he was playing in Bulgaria remember. Think he may have been signed on reputation rather than form. Not trying to totally slate the guy but apart from MK dons he has done very little in his career, and had nearly as many clubs as Drewe Broughton!
I would also wholeheartedly agree with this comment players when low on confidence could regain it quicker in a form teamTo not get any game time in an LDV game which we were comfortable in would worry me, he needs a chance while the hole team is playing well as that will definitely help. His chances have come when the team was not on top form.
