JCR

Youth Team
Brilliant last night. Yeah I know he is frustrating and often there's no end product, but he gives us and outlet on the right and that takes the pressure of the defence. He also works back well and helps out the defence. He has to start if fit. We've definitely missed him while he was out injured.

Could be great player for us if he could just work on his final ball.

I've been a massive doubter of JCR in the past but last night I thought he was brilliant. I hadn't doubted that he frightened the life out of defences but it was just the final product. Last night it was clear that he had worked on this element of his game and it was an all round superb performance from him.

f%&king superb he was last night.

If he can keep that level of play up, we will soon start climbing the table.

Couldnt fault JCR last night, a superb display.
And lets be honest its not the first time we have seen him torment defenders this season.
Agree that the final ball sometimes lets him down...but INMO the way he tracks back and defends as well makes up for this.

I think if we got more bodies in the box JCR would have something better to aim at. Doubt Heinze will have a tougher duel all season. He could be a real star for us this season.

JCR was fantastic last night. I think we may have found a good pair for the centre back positions aswell. You can't drop spinner or Sodje after that performance.

As I said in an earlier post I fully agree with everything you've written, JCR's actually DELIVERED last night to add to the rest of his game which was excellent, both in an attacking and defensive sense. I was his biggest critic but more of that and he'll be INVALUABLE to us

My thoughts entirely. We have a player with the workrate of Petts, the pace to cover just about anything the opposition throw at us down their left, and the ability to single handedly run the ball clear and relieve pressure. I think that JCR's productivity is better than many give him credit for, but even if it wasn't he'd still be one hell of a player on the whole.

You'll all come round to my way of thinking that he's a little genius sooner rather than later.

Difference is yesterday he did all the usual great stuff - the high-energy bursts down the wing, great skill and trickery, bags of pace etc but ALSO GOT BALLS INTO THE BOX and good balls too!! Can't praise him enough today, if he continues to do that week after week (inc deliveries) he'll be one of the most important players on the teamsheet. We looked so much better with him in the side yesterday and he covered Francis brilliantly at times too.

Let it never be said that I'm one of these stubborns pillocks who refuse to change their opinions on a player when he starts to perform, I admitted my pre-judgement was a mistake with Harrold and after JCR's performance last night my views on him can change very quickly. He did what a winger SHOULD be doing extremely well, and when you add those cracking deliveries to his otherwise excellent attributes you've got one hell of a player!!

Keep it up JCR!!!!!

We need him in the team when Harrold is back as we'll actually have someone for him to aim at as well.
