The Watermill Wino
Coach Guru⭐🦐
According to Blues News he is availiable for tonites game but would miss the Bournemouth game at the Hall in december.
Excellent if that is the case. Though would only be worth having him for this game if he is going to start... Would he take Bentley's place?[b said:Quote[/b] (The Watermill Wino @ Sep. 27 2005,09:55)]According to Blues News he is availiable for tonites game but would miss the Bournemouth game at the Hall in december.
Didn't Lawson have a good game last time round? Why take him out if that's the case? But if things aren't working with 20minutes to go, bring on Gray then.[b said:Quote[/b] (canveyshrimper @ Sep. 27 2005,10:36)]Seems likely he may start in place of Bentley, with possibly Gray up front with The Goat, and Lawson on the bench with Eastwood.
Its true but Gray did come on and win us the game. And maybe Tilly feels Lawson may need a rest? But I feel it will be a Peanut/Goat partnership. Y change a winning team?[b said:Quote[/b] (lucus @ Sep. 27 2005,10:45)]Didn't Lawson have a good game last time round? Why take him out if that's the case? I agree with you, I am just speculating about the team. After all Bentley scored on Saturday, and may have to warm the bench tonight.[b said:Quote[/b] (lucus @ Sep. 27 2005,10:45)]Didn't Lawson have a good game last time round? Isn't it great for us that us lot every game have to discuss who is better than everyone so they should start instead of the past 'who is playing badly and should be dropped'. Now with the introduction of JCR with have a team that should be feared across League 1.[b said:Quote[/b] (canveyshrimper @ Sep. 27 2005,10:49)]I agree with you, I am just speculating about the team. Bentley did score last time round, though hearing from reports after that game he did little else to offer the team, and kept wandering inside losing our width. A good player in the middle yes, but in this instance I would much rather a natural wide man in the side.[b said:Quote[/b] (The Viking @ Sep. 27 2005,11:00)]I have to say I'm a little surprised...would have thought Gray would start out wide instead of Bentley, then Benters would be an ok back-up on ther bench (though I don't really think he's great out there.) It would seem a bit unfair just to drop Benters straight for JCR - after all, he did play most of the game in a superb 4-2 away win (although of course it was 2-2 when he came off.)
Indeed you're right. And having just seen the team of the week he has been included, along with another Yeovil player in defence.[b said:Quote[/b] (canveyshrimper @ Sep. 27 2005,11:07)]I recall from the Yeovil home game last season that their full back (Amanw%&kah - spelling?) had Gower in his pocket, also Pettefer when he tried down that side. It will be interesting to see how he gets on against the extra pace of Gray, JCR or Cole.
Think it is, officially. Its been muted but thats the first time i've seen it in black and white.[b said:Quote[/b] (Kent Shrimper @ Sep. 27 2005,12:39)]is this the first time the 140K transfer fee has been confirmed?
Agreed... I remember being mightily impressed by young Amankwaah when the Glovers visited last season; and, given the Cider Reds' defensive failings, Bristol City's decision to release him remains totally unfathomable.[b said:Quote[/b] (lucus @ Sep. 27 2005,11:18)]Indeed you're right.
