Couldn't make tonight as was playing myself...looking at the teams, I see that JCR played for Brizzle City before being reeled in. ;)

After his OTT celebrations after that FA Cup goal against us for Barnsley, I hope he got a hostile reception tonight!!!

You're bang-on there. Before the teams came out in an Essex Senior League Cup match a couple of years ago, he 'warmed up' by sticking his hands inside his shorts.

They inevitably lost.

Looked very subdued and has definately put on weight. I also dont think it helped that he was central.

I know he wasnt to everyones taste but i really rated JCR and the fact that since leaving us he has remained in the championship would suggest he was not as poor as people thought.

I would have him here on loan in a shot

I think it was more a case that Grant won it off him to be fair. However, I thought JCR was very poor - gave the ball away loads and got caught trying over intricate stuff. Would be a great asset to L2, but if he turns in performances like that week in week out he'll get pilloried in Bristol.

Wasn't a patch on how I remember him for Barnsley when they played us here. Some boos, but got some applause when subbed too. Can't understand why on earth he was playing a central midfield role, surely that negates his most effective positional play down the wing.

Given how good his goal was, I don't actually think his celebration was OTT. I think he just surprised himself...
