JCR, The cristiano ronaldo of the lower leagues

Hazey SUFC

First XI
Sounds silly at first but think about it.
Both were bought into their Clubs with lots of potential. However they both used this potentional to do pointless showboating and taking players on without really influencing a game.

However this season has seen a change in both. They don't loose possesion as often, are noW getting in crosses and both chip in with some goals.

I feel JCR has much, much, much more to give. Lets hope Tilly and Brush can get it out of him.

What a player he could be!

yes, he has got lots of skill, good techinical ability, quick and does work very hard...only downside is that he is very small and can get pushed off the ball.

I personally find jcr extreemly frustrating to watch, but over the past month he really has started to be an asset to the team. He's actualy starting to get GOOD crosses in, and as you said did score two cracking goals.

I agree, I still feel there is more to come, but I am pleased witht the progress he has made.

Well done jcr...keep it up.

, if he was taller and was more aware of others around him im sure he would be a premiership player.

Who, Darryl?

jcr is a great player and is playing his best football for us at the moment. great skill, passing, scored a few. only thing is maybe he could cross more but saying that no one evers in the box to head it in!

I must be missing something here.

how many assists has JCR got this season? any?

he looks good but is very frustrating. long way to go to be the Ronaldo of the lower leagues.

How many assists has Gower got ?

Again, a rather simplified outlook on the position. With a team that doesnt get people into the box much we arent going to score lots from crosses. When JCR/Gower put a cross in you can pretty much be sure theres only one person in the penalty area to cross to.

Take into account the way he helps us get the ball forward and retain posession and his defensive work and his contribution looks far better.

JCR admittedly never used to get the ball across but he has been much improved recently, just need someone who will get on the end of them...

I wonder if JCR's mate Jermaine Johnson is on Tilly's shopping list?..

Derby had a £250k bid rejected recently.

Does JCR have 13 goals in the league then?

I see your point, and I hope JCR goes on to offer as much to us as Ronaldo does for United, by being the best player in the league

Some Cardiff fans might agree with a certain aspect of this.
A report I read felt that he was diving theatrically at every possible opportuntiy and it was driving Darren Purse mad who was fairly frustrated and demonstrated to the ref what JCR was trying to get away with!
