Jay Smith

KrustyTheKray

President
Was in Top Man today @ Lakeside Shopping centre and as i was walking out, in came none other than Jay Smith.

I stopped and had a chat, and told him he deserves a decent run in the side, i also wished him well done on his goal against the Vale last saturday.

He came across as a really decent and friendly chap who just wants to play football for SUFC.  He asked me if i went on saturday, i said i never, he said i didn't miss much.

I could just tell he seemed frustrated at his lack of opportunities in the first team this season.  I hope he starts on saturday.  Top bloke!

UP THE BLUES!

Yeah, Jay is a pretty cool guy. I dont know why he is always in Lakeside though!!! I'm suprised you did'nt see him in Game rather than Top Man!

He's a footballer they have money and more free time than the rest of us to go shopping, numbnuts!

Anyone else seen any players in retail outlets? I once saw Barrington Belgrave walking out of "Poundland". He wasn't very talkative however.

if this counts ive seen freddy eastwood and jermaine defoe both in service stations on separate occassions! freddy after the 1st leg of ldv against brizzle rovers and defoe after england holland. on both occassions neither player got a game and consequently wernt very talkative!

I saw Phil Gridelet in a BP garage in Mill Hill a little while ago. Whilst he was playing at Harrow Borough (he may still be there...). He was driving a fiat and I made some remark like "I bet you didn't drive a fiat at Roots hall".
He didn't respond funnily enough.
I also saw him play for Harrow along with Christian Hyslop, and Ed Stein giving grunting noises from the bench. Billericay beat them 3-0 away from home. They were both truly rubbish.

Actually Graeme Jones is a top bloke to talk to.

I saw Mike Marsh with family scoffing a McDonalds only weeks before the start of the disastrous 96/97 season. Am I putting two and two together and coming up with five?

I saw Nathan Jones in Burger King one Saturday evening all on his own. Sad Billy no mates

Oh, and I was at Fitzpatrick's 18th birthday celebrations (by chance) at the classy Kursaal, where Conlon was slipping his sausage to the manageress

Barrington Belgrave coming out of JD Sports in Southend

Scott Forbes drinking OJ in the Hogshead

Things might have ended up OK if they'd been in Wimpy.

What an idiotic reply. For your info, Grim was merely eluding to the fact that me and Grim have seen Jay in that very place on a number of occassions.
