James Lindie

Just to let you know that James Lindie scored on his debut for CD Javea yesterday against Calpe CF. They won 3-0, which when you consider they hadn't won a friendly up until then, wasn't a bad start for him!

A great goal - it wasn't his debut though and we had beaten CF Mediterreaneo 5-2 in a pre-season friendly earlier in the week.

southend united might have faltered in the english football league but their young potentials were making their mark in the final pre-season game for cd javea. Striker james lindie scored a wonderful solo effort to seal the victory for the rojiblancos and perfectly set up the club for the season opener against cd llosa next weekend. The commitment from the squad - presented officially to the fans prior to the game - blew away the disappointment of earlier pre-season form and confidence has climbed dramatically just in time for the start of the real thing. With both strikers juanito and onieva getting themselves on the scoresheet as well, manager kenny brown is left with the sort of selection headache that managers like: Roll on next weekend

Nice write up, looks like our youngsters have started to enjoy themselves in Spain.
