Sorry if I have missed it but what happened to him last night - not in the squad.

Is he injured or is there some other reason?

CP said he didnt think he was injured, which isnt the same as not being ill.

Is this fact or a guess? If a guess it is one that fits the facts other than that he was out there before the match which doesn't fit the MO of a Phil Brown falling out.

I was waiting for PB to be asked the question pre and post-match, but Nick didn't ask him for some reason.

As it turned out, bringing Thommo back worked really well.

I know you don't like him, but White is capable of covering any of the four defensive positions so we weren't quite "without" someone on the bench.

I agree, he's adequate cover anywhere across the back 4. I just don't think he should be a regular starter if we're to kick on to the next level

Maybe he just wasn't picked as Brown felt Barrett and Thompson were the better combination?

Maybe PB felt Sokolik was largely responsible for the confrontation with Demetriou? It is shame though because Sokolik has played well this season and on the face of it his omission for the game against Sheffield United looked harsh.
