Jacksonville V New England

The jags slim hopes of a victory are vanishing before my eyes. with less than 5 minutes left and 11 points to make up it looks like New England are heading to the AFC Championship Game.

watched this over in the States, there was a crushing sense of inevitability about it. what I find odd about US sports fans is that a lot of people who support other teams (I'm in Eagles/Steelers territory, for example) are quite keen for the Pats to get the perfect season because they're 'the best team'. Can't imagine that happening in England- which rather makes me miss it...

Counting down until the NY Giants pull another one out of the back later to win at the Cowboys!

Hope you have better luck than my team this morning.

saw the giants beat the dolphins at wembley, it would be pretty good if i could say i saw them win at wembley on there way to a superbowl win.

Me too and I've been thinking exactly the same thing :)

I was also gutted when Miami beat Baltimore. To say I'd seen the first ever 0-16 team would have been cool.

Very much looking forward to the Cowboys/Giants game now, not so sure Mrs Uxbridge is though

Watched the Seahawks game and that was a bit mental with the snow. Actually fancied the Seahawks for a bit of an upset but their playoff record on the road is shocking and as soon as the conditions turned, they looked shambolic. I believe the Packers scored from 7 consecutive possessions.

I don't know what it is but I just have a feeling that the pats are going to burn out. We'll see I guess.

Zippity, Zip, Zip It :finger:
