“I’ve enjoyed it here, I’ve settled in well and it’s been a good experience for me to get first team matches.

:stunned:

He's done well, but hard to make such an impact in a short space of time.
Especially when arriving at a club who are performing well, and just signed a striker (Benyon) + with strikers playing well in a side who is winning.

So he will get some more games, and will be good to have him until the end of the season.

Have I blinked and missed our 3 victories from our previous 3 games then?

I hope Sampson gets a few starts if the loan is extended coz otherwise it was a completely pointless signing when we could probably have done with another defender. Hopefully once Baldwin is fully matchfit and Phillips comes back into the side we'll tighten up though.

We had won 2 of 8 games before he signed along with some shocking performances mixed in. I'd of said we were well out of form certainly not a side on the up. I doubt he would of been signed if we were as Sturrock said before he didnt want to disrupt the team when it was flying high.

Id say we need to keep him down to the fact that our strikers are not performing well consistantly.

Compare our January form to that of December and its definitely on the up. Question is whether its back on its way down again after the last 3 :)

Sampson was probably one of the only players against Swindon who looked like he might actually do something with the ball and wasn't called Mohsni, I'd be happy if he got his loan extended.
