He co-wrote that as well, I think. In his early days he was more into writing and producing. There's a great book on film-making in the 70s and Nicholson was a real trailblazer back then
 
Bloody hell that is some list. Just shows there are plenty of JN films I have yet to see. Someone caned Anger Management on the other thread. Haven't seen it yet. Views ?

anger management is OK if you like Ben Stiller and his brand of slapstick faux-angry humour. Otherwise it's forgettable...
 
Prizzi's Honor is a cracker.

Whilst he's great in Batman, it's a pretty average flick. Never really grabbed by Witches of Eastwick or Mars Attacks!, either.
 
i loved him as the joker. while not one of his best performances or one of his best films, it could have so easily have been bad. for the circumstances and for the risk i think he was brilliant. without him the film would have flopped
