ITV and NOTW League One Predictions

Yesterdays NOTW had us to finish 7th in their predictions, stating that the loss of Freddy Eastwood will be hard to cope with, but said Charlie Macdonald could be the 'new' Eastwood (fill his boots). According to the NOTW our only buy is Nicky Bailey and our only loss is Eastwood!

Todays ITV teletext also has all predictions, and has us to finish 8th, once again stating that the loss of Eastwood will be hard. But they also said that if our new look defence gels well then we will be in for a chance of the play-offs.

Fair predictions i think. I would take 7th or 8th at the end of the season but i would like us to be challenging within the play-off area and finish 5th or 6th.

I'd also like to be challenging for the playoffs, I'd take 6th now to be honest, I think we can do better then that but 6th is a good aim.

Fred can you please remove that sig of your's on "F" although it is a masterpiece it is very upsetting for me ..

;)

I'd rather we was "aiming" or "challenging" for automatic promotion guys.

But I think I know what you really mean.

It's a fair point. Our strikers probably haven't scored enough league one goals combined as Fred did in that one season.

That said, we have managed to keep all the other key players (touch wood) from last season so I see no reason why we shouldn't expect a top half finish. Just a question on the goals front. I know it's only pre-season but it is interesting how prolific we've been,
