It's Metal Monday Pt.2

SUFC_Al

Metal Monday Dude
It barely seems a week ago that I post the first in this series but anyway here I am again to provide you with this week's track.

This band doesn't really need an introduction but what the hell, their first album was released in 1983, they recorded an album which is widely recognised as one of the finest and influential albums in its genre. They have the ability to whip their audience in to an absolute frenzy and even after nearly 25 years playng live, still possess the same energy and intensity, if not more, than when they first started.

Ladies and Gentleman: Slayer

This track was recorded live in 2006 and it's off their "Hell Awaits" album of 1985. Probably not one of their "signature" tracks but, for me, has all the ingredients of a Slayer classic.

Slayer Live.

Enjoy.

Also I want to let you know that if there's a track you would like featured then let me know, i'm open to suggestions and if I can find a video for it I'll post it up.

Thanks,
Al.

Not really my cup of tea these days, but I did own Seasons In The Abyss .... then Nirvana came along and EVERYTHING changed.

Don't forget your copies of La Cage au Folies, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Larry Graysons Greatest **** Ups. :D

Hang on - thread diversion with some cheap homophobic jokes... MK Shrimper - does what it says on the tin.

Not as good as Jimmy Carr tho :D

Oh, come on, you're having a Steffi with that comment.
How is Captain Forehead better than Alan Carr at stand-up?
Totally different styles of stand-up so difficult to compare directly anyway but for me JC, has just perfected the art of taking a 1970s joke book and trying to apply snidely little improvements to bring the gags up to the modern age!

Knowing TB, probably....
But then again most of the music he listens to we'd think is gay... ;)

Another good choice BTW.

thanks Ben, nice to have a comment about the track.

*looks accusingly at MK and Glasgow for another thread diversion" :hilarious:
