Just wondered with the Accrington game still fresh in everybodys mind if the torquay was in doubt as there fans seem to think that it could be .

Apparently the pitch was very sodden mid week and it has been lashing down in torquay for the last few hours and there fans seem to think there is a good chance this may fall foul of the weather.

What a nightmare to our loyal bunch if lightning strikes twice in a week.

Hi guys,

Torquay fan here. The match is (unofficially) very much in doubt. As has been mentioned previously, the pitch was playable, but cutting up quite badly on Tuesday night against Burton.
We have had significant, heavy rainfall Friday evening and night into Saturday morning.
I can only advise that you ring TUFC on 01803 328 666, keep your eyes peeled on www.torquayunited.com or have a look at www.torquayfans.com (go to the main board, there will be a thread on there pretty much as soon as it is confirmed on the official site, possibly sooner.)

If it is on, have a safe journey down (well, across) and a very depressing journey home with no points, in the nicest possible way, of course.

Matt.

I can confirm it's nice & sunny down here at present
It did rain very heavily last night, but there has been no pitch inspection.

I can also confirm dry and sunny in torquay
But view from my torquay hotel window not quite what I expected - no hanging gardens of babylon, no herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain and it seems a party of Germans are expected tonight
