Is Matt the Shrimp moonlighting.....

Kenny

.....for KENT?

County Championship D1, Canterbury, day one (close): Kent 353-3 v Middlesex
Match scorecard

Kent stalwart David Fulton savoured a day of landmarks as his team posted 353-3 against relegated Middlesex.

In his 200th first-class match for Kent, Fulton struck his second century of the season and passed 12,000 runs.

Matthew Walker added his fifth century of the campaign, sharing 196 for the third wicket with Fulton, who sealed his 28th hundred just before tea.

Walker was dropped on 73 by Owais Shah at long-off but Fulton's six-hour vigil ended when he cut to backward point.

Ahh, if only. My namesake is a stylish middle-order batsman, and a stalwart (and vice-captain) of the Kent side.

Did you know that there's also a player called Matt Windows, whose initials are MGN Windows?

Surely he could change his second name by deed poll from Guy to Simon, and then contact Bill Gates for some sponsorship money...
