So now works finished for the week and I've settled indoors for the night, I have nothing else to think about apart from tomorrow's big match.

- Will we be able to handle the pressure of a full roots hall
- Can we keep another clean sheet at home
- Will Morecombe do us a massive favour against Wycombe
- What if it's another season of the play offs

all these thoughts and more are bringing that nervy sick feeling to my stomach.

Anyone else got the pre match jitters and only Southend make you feel.

Yep. I'm trying to consider that three weeks ago we had no chance of automatics. If we blow it, we have a second chance through the playoffs which is what we expected all along. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it is bloody hard.

The club are offering a special deal on 'Grease and Seal'. It was first offered at Bury on Tuesday and worked well for those who tried It. Once applied you are guaranteed no rear-end squeaky or leaky. Lasts for a minimum 2 hours I'm told.

Not yet.

I know Phil said that this is a "cup final" but I see it more as a semi-final. Even if we win and Wycombe lose, we still need to get a result at Morecambe, unless we smash Luton by 10!

Yes tomorrow will be fine, and I think we will be in the driving seat come the final day of the season, then we will blow it against Morecambe.

never mind squeaky bum time ive chewed my finger down to the knuckles . Just hope the players just se it as another game to win .And the boo boys keep of the players and managers backs . And support the team from the fist to the final whistle . UTB :happy::happy::happy:

A La Grimsby 10 years ago?. If that happened and the same scenario unfolded after, get through the semis and win the final, i'd take that, although i'd be somewhat financially poorer, and no doubt more hair would fall out!

This is the gutting thing for me, if we win tomorrow I will be going morecombe 100% but finances won't allow me to do that and the playoffs so it's all or nothing. Or I take the chance and wait for playoffs

The jelly tremble of my Gluteus Maximus is the first indication of the state of my posterior region. On further inspection, the continued flutter and pucker of my anal sphincter, is a mere prelude to the soon ensuing leakage. I can only hope, as in years past, some will be throwing toilet rolls.

I was nervous when I got in. A few beers later and I'm excited like a kid at Xmas and unsure as to how much sleep I'll get tonight. UTB!

The downside of being in HK is I won't be there. The upside is it is another beautiful day and pleasingly not humid. Better than that I will be in a bar before and through the game.

Damn just thought of another downside unless some of the regulars can post in game updates through what would probably be a very quiet OMT

I'm nervous as anything. It's times like this that I wish I was living back in the UK, but hey!

I've got a big day ahead got to go to the big Aussie rules game and see the Dockers maul the Swans, then back at home in time to listen to Southend touch up Luton.
