Not painful, just not particulary interested now our seasons over.

Busy weekend this weekend with Airshow and nephews party so doubt it will even cross my mind.

I hope Crewe go up as I've still not been to Cheltenham. No pain though, seems an age ago since we last played, I just want to know which of them will be in our division.

BBQ Sunday, so I won't be watching it.

On the other hand, I hope Crewe win, decent footballing side who'd do quite well in League One.

Would like Crewe to go up, because they are the stronger team, and it would be easier to get promoted next season if they weren't in our league. (No disrespect to Cheltenham, Crewe are just the stronger team)

If Crewe don't go up I think they could well have a very different side next year, it may prove very difficult to hang on to some of their young starlets. I think that likes of Powell and one or two others will be snapped up by higher league sides.

They played exciting, passing, flowing football. I still maintain if they'd have started the season with Davis they would have won the league.
Agreed about the football but they still allowed us a whole host of chances, they just took one more of theirs. All teams will have ifs and buts, if we had a better keeper for example, but the facts are that we were much better than them throughout the season. If you get promoted finishing 7th then count yourselves very fortunate. They are the rules though.

Agree with this. Hope Cheltenham go up in any case as Crewe is far easier for a northern exile to get to plus their fans were acting like dipsticks outside the ground after the first leg

Hope Cheltenham go up, they deserve it more than Crewe.

Then let Crewe sell their few 'gems' & hopefully a season of mid-table obscurity will follow.

Im not bitter by the way.

I hope Cheltenham win just because Crewe were being too cocky, but dont think they will even be at the races. (See what I did there)

Had to drive past Wembley in the week and felt physically sick as I once again let my thoughts wonder and imagine the wonderful colour and spectacle that 30,000 shrimpers in the sunshine would have made packed behind one goal.:'(

I was thinking earlier today about the game tomorrow. But more in the way of what a shame we are not there. I had arranged with family and friends to attend the final had we been in it.What a great day out it would have been. It looks like the weather will be fantastic. To be honest though I was not that confident of winning at Wembley because I feel a footballing side who keeps possesion has an advantage on a big pitch. The irony was that the good run we had near the end of the season saw us play Crewe over two legs and not in the final as it might have been. Woulda, coulda shouda as they say its history now.
