Tilly has now let two players go and brought nobody in AFTER saying what a threadbare squad he has got. Unless we bring in at least 1 player by tomorrow, we may end up with only 1 striker in the whole 16 and he hasnt even bedded in yet

Hooper has had one decent game, not fussed anout him going out as long as someone comes in.

baffled by the movement this transfer window. letting the only big centre back we've got go without giving so much as a chance, now hearing hooper has gone on loan i'm thinking what the hell is tilly thinking. of course i think he must have something planned like a few signings are just going through. but no way i am holding my breath.

Agreed, every season we go through this S**t about who we are and arent going to sign, Jan transfer season means nothing to Southend United the sooner all the rumors stop the better, unless there is some truth behind it, dont post it i say.

He got great service didn't he. Head and shoulders above the rest at Bournemouth and 2 weeks later we out him to save probably 1200 quid a week. Bad management, increasingly frustrating team decisions to fathom out!

Maybe but as a player those that went gave him around an 8/9 out of ten. Matt Harrold and blue arsed fly Macdonald could only get that between them and they are still here!

I'd be shocked if Hooper was even half of £1200k p/w.
